Financial Accounting & Reporting

Foster a culture of accuracy, discipline, accountability, and process optimization.

Lead the review and approval of account reconciliations and preparation of monthly/annual financial statements.

Ensure timely and accurate revenue and cost recognition, including provisions and accruals.

Oversee electronic accounting systems and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards.

Manage aging of all major balance sheet accounts.

Act as the primary liaison for external auditors.

Ensure documentation, policies, and support schedules are audit-ready at all times.

Internal Controls & Compliance

Implement, monitor, and enhance internal financial controls across the organization.

Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements (ISR, VAT, and others), including periodic filings and audits.

Oversee current and deferred tax calculations, interest recognition, and debt-related accounting.

Support C-Suit team risk management processes and corporate governance frameworks as referenced in the company’s Risk Management Framework files

Treasury & Cash Management

Supervise bank reconciliations and cash-flow monitoring.

Support budgeting process, funding requirements, and debt covenant compliance.

Maintain strong oversight of payments and treasury workflows.

Business Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Provide financial insights and advisory support to Executive Management, Commercial teams, and Finance leadership.

Collaborate on project transitions for acquired entities, including accounting, controls, and opening balance processes.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop the accounting team, establishing measurable performance standards and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Foster a culture of accuracy, discipline, accountability, and process optimization.

El perfil que buscamos

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing.

  • Strong expertise in tax compliance and statutory reporting.

  • Familiarity with IFRS, Mexican GAAP, and corporate governance best practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Intermedium-advanced level of English (written and spoken) is desirable.

  • Relevant network within the financial industry and previous experience in related transactions.

  • Knowledge of financing options and relevant stakeholders and institutions.

  • Ability to manage challenging timelines, budgets and tasks, coordinating with third parties.

  • Travel expected: <20%
