Develop and refine detailed financial models to evaluate qualified supply scenarios, including supply contracts, client portfolios, generation sourcing strategies, and risk exposures.
Lead risk assessments across commercial, operational, regulatory, and financial dimensions to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare high-quality analysis, dashboards, and materials for internal approval processes and corporate reporting requirements.
Liaise and negotiate with relevant authorities such as CNE, CENACE, etc., as necessary; provide comprehensive support for obtaining a QS license and completing the market participant registration process, including the development of an organizational structure to successfully pass CENACE accreditation and enable the earliest possible launch of QS business operations.
Conduct impact analyses and develop response measures in line with regulatory changes and institutional reforms.
Support the evaluation and negotiation of power procurement arrangements (tolling, PPAs, energy purchases).
Monitor and ensure that procurement strategies align with financial, regulatory, and operational targets.
Oversee the structuring of commercial offers, pricing strategies, and margin management processes.
Supervise customer acquisition and account management practices of internal or external teams.
Review and validate key account strategies, agency networks, and service standards to ensure alignment with the company’s quality expectations.
Coordinate periodic client satisfaction assessments and recommend improvements.
Identify, analyze, and recommend potential partnerships, acquisitions, or portfolio purchases to strengthen the company’s qualified supply position.
Coordinate due diligence processes across technical, commercial, financial, and legal workstreams.
Lead post-acquisition or post-partnership integration oversight, ensuring operational alignment, risk mitigation, and achievement of KPIs.
Act as the internal manager coordinating inputs from legal, finance, engineering, compliance, and operations teams.
Serve as the primary interface for strategic questions and internal reporting requirements related to the qualified supply business.
Support cultural alignment and promote operational excellence standards within integrated teams.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the power or energy sector, preferably including exposure to qualified supply, retail energy, project development, or corporate strategy roles.
Strong expertise in financial modeling, business case building, and risk assessment for energy projects or businesses.
Proven experience in complex negotiations, whether in procurement, partnerships, or M&A contexts.
Solid knowledge of Mexico’s energy regulatory environment including market rules.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and lead strategic processes without direct operational execution.
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, with a structured, concise, and analytical style.
Ability to work within high-standards, detail-oriented environments, particularly those influenced by Japanese corporate culture and long-term partnership mindsets.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related fields required; Master’s degree preferred.
