Position Overview
● Position Title: Sales Director - Europe
● Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
● This is an individual contributor role requiring a highly autonomous and proactive professional.
● Location: Flexible remote within Europe, with a strong preference for candidates based in Madrid, Spain.
● Travel: Dependent on client visits, industry events, and project schedules; there is no fixed or mandatory travel frequency.
Core Job Responsibilities
1. Client Communication & Solutions Promotion: Lead business development and communication efforts with European utility-scale solar asset owners, developers, EPC contractors, and O&M providers. Actively promote the company’s specialized PV robot cleaning and installation solutions across the region.
2. Market Intelligence & Feedback: Gather deep insights into customer needs, technical requirements, and localized market project pipelines to provide strategic guidance for the company's future commercial and product direction.
3. End-to-End Sales Management: Identify and qualify high-potential cooperative partners, lead project follow-ups, conduct complex commercial negotiations, execute contract signings, and oversee timely payment collections.
4. Performance Target Achievement: Drive the regional pipeline to consistently meet and exceed the annual sales and performance objectives established by the company.
● Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years of specific, relevant experience within the photovoltaic (PV) or renewable energy industry, ideally dealing with utility-scale solar assets.
● Career Longevity: Over 10 years of overall professional working experience, demonstrating a proven track record of career stability and progressive growth.
● Network & Relationships: Possess an established, strong network of clients and stakeholders in Spain and across the wider European renewable energy market.
● Skills: Superior commercial negotiation skills, exceptional communication capabilities, and the ability to work independently in an international, fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Contractual Conditions
● Remuneration Package: Highly competitive and fully negotiable, finalized based on the candidate's actual profile, experience, and value.
● Salary Structure: An annual total remuneration package consisting of a competitive base salary and an annual year-end bonus. The bonus amount is directly linked to full-year performance and KPI achievements.
