The Asset Manager will be a key member of the team, reporting directly to the Technical Director. This role is crucial in ensuring the compliance and performance of key KPIs during the operational phase of our solar projects portfolio. The Asset Manager will also lead the handover process of new solar projects, ensuring a smooth transition from construction to operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Optimization: Evaluate and enhance the performance of solar assets throughout their lifecycle, with a strong focus on Opex, Risk Management, Health & Safety (H&S), and resource optimization. Propose optimization, negotiating with contractors and managing remediation plan.
Operational Oversight: Ensure the operational efficiency of all assets, maintaining compliance with performance standards and contractual obligations.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain close relationships with landowners, authorities, equipment suppliers, distribution companies, utilities, insurance companies, market consultants, owner engineers, legal advisors, lenders, investors, and O&M operators.
Contracts & Negotiations: Support in the negotiation of O&M contracts and related agreements, ensuring favorable terms and smooth execution.
Reporting & Internal Support: Provide detailed performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly) and technical support to internal teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Monitoring of Solar Assets Management System (SEC - SGIIE, CEN - Infotecnica).
Health & Safety: Implementation of good safety and health environment practices. Comply with industry standards and best practices for HSQE.
Maintenance Plan: Manage of Solar Assets Maintenance Plans meeting annual project maintenance goals.

Profile:
• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in the solar energy sector.
• Engineering degree, ideally complemented by commercial training.
• Additional Business or Project Management qualifications are a plus.
• Solid knowledge of renewable energy plants, solar PV systems, electrical infrastructure, and highvoltage equipment.
• High level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to be technically innovative.
• Contract management experience, with expertise in negotiating and overseeing operational agreements.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Workplace Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Well-developed computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Effective leadership and supervision skills.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills with the proven ability to effectively interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Autonomy.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Availability to travel to the sites up to 50%.
• Valid Class B driver’s license.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
