Project Planning:
Develop and implement project construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Site Management: Oversee daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Team Management: Lead and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and vendors.
• Quality Control: Ensure projects meet quality standards and address any defects or issues promptly.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop contingency plans.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring costs are within budget.
• Schedule Management: Ensure projects are completed on schedule and manage delays or changes.
Requirements:
• Development Coordination: Coordinate all development activities for projects under development in Colombia, including:
- Permitting and licensing
- Evaluate and secure connection
- Land acquisition and management
- Community engagement and stakeholder relations
- Compliance with local regulations and laws
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in solar project construction management or a related field.
• Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as OSHA or PMP, are desirable.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of solar energy industry standards, engineering practices, and construction methodologies and practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Colombian regulatory frameworks, permitting procedures, and environmental compliance requirements applicable to renewable energy projects.
• Personal and technical skills to interact and develop agreements with national and local authorities in those areas where solar projects will be developed.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Familiarity with international codes, norms, and best practices in solar energy development and project management.
• Proven leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and capacity to work under pressure.
• Mobility: Availability to travel throughout Colombia as required by project demands, including site visits, stakeholder meetings, and field supervision.
