1. Support to the Head of Power Markets in the evaluation of different Offtake strategies (PPAs, RtM, GoO, Energy auctions, participations in ancillary services markets, etc).
2. Analysis Production/Demand solutions in PPAs.
3. Development of tailor-made quantitative energy strategies in the countries with the company projects
4. Evaluate new strategies and requirements to capture the market value existing in ancillary services markets in Europe.
5. Analysis of the Energy regulation in the countries with the company projects.
6. To communicate and coordinate with other areas in the company and external consultant and legal advisors.
7. Maintain the data updated and elaborate periodical reports related to different Energy markets.
8. Build and develop new tools oriented to monitor Energy Market activity and Power/commodities markets. Develop risk procedures and tools regarding value at risk exposure and mitigation measures.
9. Development of quantitative models and pricing tools to support all commercial, energy risk management and economic-financial valuation.
Engineering degree, economical degree or mathematical degree.
Advanced knowledge of technical, economic and regulatory aspect of the
Iberian Power markets. Knowledge on other European markets will be a plus.
Knowledge of the renewable power generation technologies.
Extended experience in Power Bi and other IT tools used in Energy market analysis. Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Power markets analysis.
Fluency on Spanish and English languages, both written and spoken. Other European language will be a plus.
