Descripción  del puesto

A fast-growing international renewable energy group is expanding its activities in Czech Republic through a joint venture with one of the country's most recognized EPC contractors. The company has several SPVs in place and a solid pipeline of utility-scale solar PV projects (ranging from 5 to 15 MW), with the first construction expected in 18 months. To gain deeper local insight, optimize development costs, and strengthen project oversight, the group is looking to recruit a Senior Business Developer, based in Prague, who will act as the company’s local representative and operational lead for all development-related matters.

Strategy & Management: Define and implement development strategy for the Czech market in line  with group goals (MW targets, timelines, budgets, quality). Conduct legal, fiscal, and market  analysis to guide investment decisions and financial modeling. Optimize internal processes to  improve project delivery and profitability.

Project & Partnership Oversight: Oversee co-development partnership through all project  phases—from origination to commissioning. Ensure strong pipeline management and continuity  of investment-ready projects. Support land acquisition and permitting processes with local  partners.

Business Development: Identify and negotiate new co-development agreements and project  acquisitions. Lead contract negotiations (co-dev agreements, shareholder pacts, joint ventures)  with legal support. Assess acquisition targets and prepare investment memos for group approval.

Leadership & Financial Oversight: Responsible for full project lifecycle and financial  performance. Monitor key financial KPIs, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with strategic  priorities. Act as a hands-on leader, actively supporting local teams and partnerships.

Reporting & Coordination: Provide proactive market, regulatory, and technical intelligence.  Ensure effective internal communication and reporting to HQ. Recommend corrective actions and  resource needs to the executive team.
