The Associate will be a key contributor supporting the Corporate Finance activities. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and execution capabilities with a strategic mindset, playing a central role in both transactional work and broader corporate decision-making. This position is based in Madrid and offers exposure to a wide range of activities across the full lifecycle of renewable energy assets.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Investor Outreach

- Identify and map potential investors, including energy/infrastructure funds, financial institutions, and strategic/industrial partners.

- Prepare and coordinate fundraising materials, such as investment teasers, information memorandums (IM), financial packages, and executive presentations.

- Manage the investor funnel, including follow-up, meeting coordination, and initial due‑diligence preparation.- Lead the preparation of investor Q&A, ensuring consistency in strategic and financial messaging.

- Oversee day‑to‑day execution of fundraising processes, ensuring progress tracking and timeline adherence.

- Coordinate interactions among internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consistency across deliverables.

- Prepare periodic reporting for senior management and shareholders, including investor dashboards, process updates, and milestone planning

Financial Analysis & Transaction Support

- Build and maintain advanced financial models, evaluating investment scenarios, expected returns, and key risk sensitivities.

- Perform company valuations (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions).

- Prepare key transaction documentation, including market analysis, business plans, and transaction decks.

- Support due‑diligence processes, coordinating information flows with legal, tax, technical, and financial advisors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Partner with Structured Finance, M&A, Development, Engineering, Legal, Asset Management, Procurement, Implementation, Controlling,

and ESG teams.

- Monitor energy market dynamics, regulatory changes, and financing trends.

- Prepare materials for Investment Committee and senior leadership.

El perfil que buscamos

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure, renewable energy, investment banking, project finance, or private equity.

- Strong command of financial modelling and valuation methodologies.

- Demonstrated experience supporting or closing financing and/or M&A transactions.

- Solid understanding of energy markets, PPAs, and renewable project economics.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work independently.
