Fundraising Leadership
Lead both fund-level and project-level capital raising for infrastructure, energy transition, and renewable energy investments.
Manage the full fundraising lifecycle, including origination, investor outreach, roadshows, due diligence coordination, negotiations, and transaction closing.
Investor Relationship Management
Develop, expand, and maintain strong relationships with a diverse set of global capital providers, including:
Infrastructure and energy transition funds
Pension funds, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds
Strategic investors, industrial corporates, and listed companies
Family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and private investors
International investors across Japan, Europe, the U.S., and Hong Kong
Capital Structuring & Execution
Structure and execute a range of investment solutions, including:
GP–LP fundraises
Co-investment programs
Project equity and preferred equity
Structured capital and quasi‑equity financing
Lead negotiations on term sheets, LPAs, side letters, and investment agreements.
Prepare and deliver high-quality materials for investors and internal stakeholders, including:
Investment teasers and pitch decks
Data room documentation
IC (Investment Committee) and LP (Limited Partner) presentations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate closely with internal teams on:
Fund structuring (onshore/offshore)
Tax equity, leverage, and project finance strategies
Legal, tax, and regulatory considerations
Represent the company at global infrastructure, energy, and investment conferences, strengthening brand presence and investor engagement.
8+ years of experience in:
Infrastructure fund fundraising
Renewable energy or energy transition investments
Private equity, infrastructure PE, or project finance
Demonstrated, existing investor relationships with:
Infrastructure / energy funds
Institutional LPs
Proven track record of:
Successfully closing fundraises or large equity rounds
Managing long-cycle institutional fundraising processes
Strong understanding of:
Infrastructure fund structures
Renewable energy project economics
Risk allocation and return profiles
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work across cultures and jurisdictions
Fluent English required; Japanese or Mandarin is a strong plus
The candidate can either be based in the US (California, Orange County), Japan (Osaka or Tokyo), Singapore (WFH for now), or Hong Kong (WFH for now).
