The analyst will be actively involved in financial modelling activities covering the commercial, technical and financial dimensions of renewable energy projects. This includes valuation of projects at different development stages, support in acquisition and divestment processes, debt structuring, and ongoing monitoring of assets under construction and in operation. The role also contributes to financial close processes and, where applicable, asset sale transactions.
The position requires performing profitability analysis, sensitivity and stress testing to support investment decisions. The analyst will work alongside senior team members in shaping investment strategy and will support both debt and equity investment processes, including opportunity screening, due diligence, review of transaction documentation and participation in negotiations.
In addition, the role involves preparing clear and structured materials for internal and external stakeholders, such as teasers, investment memoranda, business cases and investment committee presentations. Close coordination with internal functions is essential to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or another quantitative or technical discipline. A Master’s degree in Finance, an MBA or progress toward the CFA qualification is considered a strong plus. The position is suitable for professionals with one to three years of experience in corporate finance, structured finance, financial advisory, debt structuring or related areas.
A solid understanding of structured finance principles, particularly non-recourse financing, as well as exposure to M&A execution processes is expected. Strong Excel skills and proven financial modelling experience are essential, including the ability to build models from scratch. Familiarity with financial modelling best practices and a continuous improvement mindset are highly valued.
The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders. Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory, while additional European languages are considered an asset. Prior exposure to the renewable energy sector, including topics such as PPAs, project development, construction, asset management and transaction documentation (SPA, SHA, DSA), is advantageous.

The role offers direct exposure to project finance and M&A transactions across the full lifecycle of renewable energy assets, with a particular focus on solar PV projects at different stages of development and operation.
