This is a great opportunity for a finance manager to join an IPP company based in Madrid. You will support the finance team, from the early development stages to the O&M stages. A positive, helpful attitude and keen use of your own initiatives is key for this role.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and oversee the budget preparation.
Review of transactions at entity holding level.
Review accurate financial statements: Balance Sheet, P&L; Cash Flow.
Prepare and coordinate the audit processes.
Review and oversee all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and other financial / tax related reports.
Track cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.
Support treasury functions. Coordinate and manage the treasury /cash planning of the portfolio.
Provide strategic recommendation to various stakeholders within the organization, local and on group level, to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
Advising on long-term business and financial planning.
Monitor bank transactions and balances, and forecast cashflow/capital requirements.
Check and monitor tax activity in order to ensure the company's compliance with tax obligations.
Preference Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.
Highly organized, ability to prioritise and detail oriented.
Fluent English and Spanish required.
Candidates must have the right to work in Spain.
Excellent management, analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to implement best practice processes.
Knowledge in Spanish GAAP; IFRS is a great asset.
