1. Explore potential offtake buyers. Analyse current and potential sources of energy revenue and risk relating to current and potential new projects.
2. Analysis and manage the participation in PPA RfP and auctions.
3. Support to the Head of Power Markets in the negotiation of different Offtake strategies (PPAs, RtM, GoO, Energy auctions, participations in ancillary services markets, etc).
4. Manage and negotiate Energy short-term and hedging agreements. Support to the head of the department in EFET&ISDA negotiations.
5. Manage all the daily activities related to the market access, GoO, balancing services, asset operation in the markets and PPA during its life. Including necessary Back-office activities.
6. Market knowledge and analysis, development of new products and sales strategies.
Engineering degree or economical degree.
Advanced knowledge of technical, economic and regulatory aspect of the European Power markets.
Knowledge of the renewable power generation technologies.
Deep knowledge of IT tools used in Energy market analysis and operation. Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Power origination, operation or analysis.
Fluency on Spanish and English languages, both written and spoken. Other European language will be a plus.

The European Power Originator/Analyst will be responsible for the analysis of the different European Power markets and support to the head of the department in PPA, GoO and RtM negotiation and manage the signed agreements during their lifes.
